ああ、やっぱり　バス旅行（りょこう）って　いい　ですね。
車窓（しゃそう）からの　景色（けしき）を　ゆっくり楽（たの）しめ　ます　し、
運転（うんてん）　しなくて　いい　から　楽（らく）です　よね。
Tanaka:
Ah, bus trips really are great.
You can enjoy the scenery slowly through the window,
and since we don’t have to drive, it’s relaxing.

山本：
そうですね。
でも　ちょっと　よいそう　です…。
バスに　長時間（ちょうじかん）　のるのは　ひさしぶり　なので。
Yamamoto:
Yes,
but I feel a little carsick…
It’s been a while since I’ve been on a bus for such a long time.

田中：
それなら、
まどの　そとを　みるといいですよ。
あと、あめとか　ガムをなめると　すこし　らくに　なる　かもしれません。
Tanaka:
In that case,
try looking out the window.
Also, sucking on candy or chewing gum might help a bit.

山本：

Thank you. By the way, where are we stopping next?

田中：
次は「しらかわごう」ですよ。

Tanaka:
Next is Shirakawa-go. There are many traditional Gassho-style houses there, and it’s registered as a World Heritage Site.

山本：
へえ、楽しみですね。写真もたくさん撮りたいです。でも、自由時間はどのくらいあるんですか？
Yamamoto:
Wow, I’m looking forward to that. I want to take lots of pictures. But how much free time will we have?

田中：
確か、1時間半くらいだったと思います。観光して、お土産を買うくらいならちょうどいいかも。
Tanaka:
I think we’ll have about an hour and a half. It’s probably just enough time for sightseeing and buying souvenirs.

山本：
なるほど。ところで、この後は温泉にも行くんですよね？
Yamamoto:
I see. By the way, we’re going to a hot spring after this, right?

田中：
はい。夕方には温泉旅館に着く予定です。露天風呂が有名らしいですよ。
Tanaka:
Yes. We’re supposed to arrive at the hot spring inn by evening. I heard the open-air baths there are quite famous.

山本：
ああ、楽しみです。温泉に入って、ゆっくりしたいなあ。
Yamamoto:
Ah, I’m excited. I really want to relax in the hot spring.

田中：
それがバス旅行のいいところですよね。移動も観光も全部セットになってて、何もしなくても楽しめる。
Tanaka:
That’s the nice thing about bus trips. The transportation and sightseeing are all included, so you can enjoy everything without doing much yourself.

山本：
たしかに。次の連休もまたバス旅行に行きたくなりそうです。
Yamamoto:
That’s true. I think I might want to go on another bus trip during the next holiday.
