１．語彙

語彙	読み方	意味	例文（英訳併記）
機密性	きみつせい	Confidentiality	顧客の個人情報を扱うため、高い機密性を維持する設計が必要です。 (Since we handle customer personal information, a design that maintains high confidentiality is necessary.)
脆弱性	ぜいじゃくせい	Vulnerability	定期的な診断を行い、システムの脆弱性を早期に発見します。 (We will perform regular diagnosis to discover system vulnerabilities at an early stage.)
準拠	じゅんきょ	Conformance / Compliance	新システムは、最新のISMS（情報セキュリティマネジメントシステム）に準拠しています。 (The new system complies with the latest ISMS (Information Security Management System).)
改ざん	かいざん	Falsification / Tampering	データの改ざんを防ぐため、詳細な操作ログを記録する仕様にしました。 (To prevent data tampering, we have made it a specification to record detailed operation logs.)
暗号化	あんごうか	Encryption	通信経路上のデータはすべて暗号化され、安全に送信されます。 (All data on the communication path is encrypted and transmitted securely.)

２．文法

1. ～を禁じ得ない (Cannot help but feel / Can’t suppress…)

意味: ある状況を見て、特定の感情がどうしても湧き上がってくる。
例文: セキュリティ対策の不備が露呈し、担当者として不安を禁じ得ません。(As the person in charge, I cannot help but feel anxious as the deficiencies in security measures have been exposed.)

2. ～に関わる / ～に関わる (Affecting / Related to – used for serious impact)

意味: 命、名誉、企業の存続など、非常に重要な事柄に影響を及ぼす。
例文: 顧客データの流出は、企業の信頼に関わる重大な問題です。(Leakage of customer data is a serious problem affecting the company’s credibility.)

3. ～ないまでも (Even if not… / If not quite…)

意味: 完璧や最高ではないが、少なくともそのレベルには近い。
例文: 毎日ないまでも、週に一度はセキュリティログの確認を行うべきです。(Even if not every day, you should check the security logs at least once a week.)

4. ～とあって (Due to the fact that… / Because it is…)

意味: 特別な状況や理由があるため、当然ある結果になる。
例文: 金融大手のシステム刷新とあって、業界全体の注目が集まっています。(Due to the fact that it is a system renewal for a major financial firm, it is attracting attention from the entire industry.)

5. ～べく (In order to / Aiming to)

意味: ある目的を達成するために行動する。
例文: コンプライアンスを強化すべく、新しいガイドラインを作成しました。(In order to strengthen compliance, we have created new guidelines.)

３．会話パターン

パターン１：セキュリティ担当者との確認

Aravindh：新システムの機密性を担保すべく、二要素認証を導入する予定です。

Aravindh: In order to ensure the confidentiality of the new system, we plan to introduce two-factor authentication.

担当者：いいですね。また、業界のセキュリティ基準に準拠しているかも重要です。

Officer: That’s good. It is also important whether it complies with the industry security standards.

Aravindh：はい、最新のガイドラインに準拠するよう設計を見直しています。

Aravindh: Yes, we are reviewing the design to ensure it complies with the latest guidelines.

担当者：データの改ざん防止についても、万全を期してください。

Officer: Please also make sure that measures to prevent data tampering are thorough.

Aravindh：承知いたしました。通信の暗号化のみならず、データベース内での保護も強化します。

Aravindh: Understood. We will strengthen protection within the database, not just the encryption of communication.

パターン２：脆弱性診断後のフィードバック

Aravindh：昨日の脆弱性診断の結果を見て、少し驚きを禁じ得ませんでした。

Aravindh: Looking at the results of yesterday’s vulnerability diagnosis, I couldn’t help but feel a bit surprised.

マネージャー：深刻な問題が見つかったのですか。

Manager: Were any serious problems found?

Aravindh：はい。システムの基盤に関わる欠陥がいくつか見つかりました。

Aravindh: Yes. We found several flaws affecting the system’s foundation.

マネージャー：致命的とまではいかないまでも、早急な修正が必要なレベルですね。

Manager: Even if not quite fatal, it’s a level that requires immediate correction, isn’t it?

Aravindh：その通りです。週末のサイクリングで頭を整理して、月曜から修正プランを立てます。

Aravindh: Exactly. I’ll clear my head with some cycling over the weekend and create a fix plan starting Monday.
