2. 文法

4. 会話

パターン1：社内会議（アクセシビリティの遵守について）

ロイック: 今日の会議では、高齢の医師や看護師の方々にも配慮した、UIのアクセシビリティ向上について提案します。

(In today’s meeting, I’ll propose improvements to UI accessibility, taking into consideration elderly doctors and nurses.)

PM: 良い視点ですね。現場では、小さな文字が読みづらいという意見が出ていました。

(That’s a good perspective. We’ve had feedback from the field that small text is difficult to read.)

ロイック: 仰せの通りです。そこで、最新のガイドラインに即して、フォントサイズの可変機能と、コントラスト比の最適化を必須項目として盛り込みました。

PM: ブラウザの互換性についてはどうですか？

ロイック: 旧バージョンのOSをお使いの病院も多いことは存じ上げております。そのため、低スペックの環境でも動作に支障が出ないよう、軽量なコンポーネントを使用します。

(I am aware that many hospitals use older versions of OS. Therefore, I will use lightweight components so that there will be no hindrance to operation even in low-spec environments.)

PM: なるほど。汎用性も高そうですね。

パターン2：日常生活（サイクリングと食事）

同僚: ロイックさん、今度の連休はどこかへ走りに行くんですか？

ロイック: はい。今回は輪行（りんこう）をして、山梨の方まで行ってみようと思っています。

(Yes. I’m thinking of taking my bike on the train this time and going towards Yamanashi.)

同僚: 山梨！いいですね。でも、地方だとベジタリアンの食事を探すのが大変じゃないですか？

(Yamanashi! That’s nice. But isn’t it hard to find vegetarian food in rural areas?)

ロイック: 以前に比べれば、地方のレストランでも野菜中心のメニューに至るまで、配慮が行き届くようになってきました。
