２．文法
1. ～にかたくない (It is not hard to / It is easy to)
- 意味: その状況を考えれば、簡単に～できる（「想像する」「理解する」などと共に使う）。 難い かたい
- 例文: 地図情報が活用できれば、事故対応が迅速になることは想像に難く（かたく）ありません。(It is not hard to imagine that accident response will become faster if map information can be utilized.)
- 彼女の性格を考えると、会社経営に失敗することは想像に難くない。
- 山田さんの子供が試験に合格した事、私の思いに難くない。
2. ～をもって (By means of / With / As of)
- 意味: 手段、方法、あるいは期限を表す。
- 例文: 最新の認証技術をもって、外部APIとの安全な接続を実現します。(By means of the latest authentication technology, we will realize a secure connection with the external API.)
- AIをもって、東京大学の入学試験問題を解いたら、満点だった。
- 停電があって、医師が携帯電話のフラッシュをもって、手術を行った。
3. ～といえども (Even / Even though)
- 意味: ～という事実があっても、それから予想されることとは違う（逆説）。
- 例文: 大手ベンダーのAPIといえども、稀（まれRare）にレスポンスが遅延することがあります。(Even though it is an API from a major vendor, responses may occasionally be delayed.)
- お相撲さんといえども、この岩を持ち上げることは難しいだろう。
- ガソリンを使うのは、汚染の原因になるといえども、まだ、
①ガソリン車の販売数が増えている。
②車メーカーはガソリン車を売り続けている。
4. ～のみならず (Not only… but also)
- 意味: ～だけでなく、他にも。
- 例文: 地図情報のみならず、気象データとも連携する計画です。(We plan to integrate not only with map information but also with weather data.)
- 彼は焼肉のみならず、お寿司もたくさん食べた。
- 台風の影響は日本のみならず、韓国にも影響していた。
5. ～んばかりの (As if / On the verge of)
- 意味: 今にも～しそうな様子だ。
- 例文: 開発チームは、納期が迫っており、溢れ出さんばかりのタスクを抱えています。(The development team has an overflowing amount of tasks, as if they are about to burst, with the deadline approaching.)
- 両親が死んで、彼は泣かんばかりの表情だ。
- 緊張していて、試合は負けんばかりでした。
３．会話パターン
パターン１：外部ベンダーとの技術打ち合わせ
Aravindh：提供いただいている地図APIの仕様について確認させてください。
Aravindh: Please let me confirm the specifications of the map API you are providing.
ベンダー：はい、最新バージョンでは位置情報の取得精度が向上しています。
Vendor: Yes, the latest version has improved accuracy in retrieving location information.
Aravindh：それは心強いです。ただ、リクエストが集中した際の負荷が懸念事項です。
Aravindh: That’s encouraging. However, the load when requests are concentrated is a concern.
ベンダー：負荷分散の仕組みを備えておりますが、万全（ばんぜん）を期すためにテストを行いましょう。
※万全 名詞 ばんぜん ＝完璧 「準備は万全だ」「これは万全な対策だ」
万全を期す＝expect perfectly
Vendor: We have a load balancing mechanism, but let’s conduct a test to be absolutely sure.
Aravindh：承知いたしました。新システムとの互換性についても、このテストをもって確認したいと思います。
