Valentin: はい。現地ガイドラインに沿って進めますが、情報漏洩に対するセキュリティ懸念を払拭できなければ、計画が遅延する恐れがあります。

(Yes. We will proceed in line with local guidelines, but if we cannot dispel security concerns regarding information leakage, there is a risk that the plan may be delayed.)

田中: 慎重に進めよう。人口の過密問題を解消し、物流の効率を高めることがこの構想の眼目だからね。

(Let’s proceed cautiously. Resolving population overcrowdedness issues and increasing logistics efficiency is the main aim of this concept, after all.)

Valentin: 承知いたしました。新都市の構造改革を成功させられるかどうかは、双方の技術交流次第です。本事業の推進は、両国の先進技術を集結させることにほかならないと確信しております。

(Understood. Whether we can succeed in the new city’s structural reform depends on technical exchanges between both sides. I am convinced that promoting this project is nothing other than bringing together the advanced technologies of both nations.)

Pattern 2: Daily Life (Talk about New Apartments and Living Environment)

健太: Valentin、僕の家の近くでスマートマンションの建設が進んでいるんだけど、周辺の整備がすごくて驚いたよ。

(Valentin, construction of a smart apartment is progressing near my house, and I was amazed by the awesome area improvements.)

Valentin: へえ、面白そうだね！環境配慮型の設計を中心に作られているの？

(Oh, sounds interesting! Is it built centering mainly on eco-friendly design?)

健太: うん。太陽光発電や自動省エネシステムで、生活の効率が格段に上がるらしいんだ。

(Yeah. It seems life efficiency improves significantly with solar power and automated energy-saving systems.)

Valentin: すごいな。ただ、セキュリティシステムへの依存に伴って、停電時の動作に懸念の声はないのかな？対策がないと、生活がストップする恐れがあるよね。
