Pattern 1: Progress Report and Negotiation in a Meeting (Business)
部長：
ガエルさん、担当している変電所改修プロジェクトの進捗はどうですか？
(Gaël, how is the progress on the substation renovation project you are in charge of?)
ガエル：
はい、現場の安全確認は完了しており、全体としては概ね計画通りに進んでいます。ただ、一部機器の納入遅れにともなって、試験工程の調整が必要です。
(Yes, safety checks on site are complete, and overall it is progressing mostly as planned. However, along with the delivery delay of some equipment, adjusting the testing process is necessary.)
部長：
試験の実施を少し遅らせるということかな？納期への影響は？
(Does that mean delaying the testing a little? What is the impact on the delivery deadline?)
ガエル：
試験自体は延期せざるを得ませんが、予備日を活用するため、最終的な納期には影響ありません。
(We cannot help but postpone the testing itself, but since we will utilize spare days, there is no impact on the final delivery deadline.)
部長：
了解した。関係部署ともしっかり連携を取って進めてください。
(Understood. Please coordinate closely with the relevant departments as you proceed.)
パターン2：会議終わりのスケジュールに関する雑談（日常・カジュアル）
Pattern 2: Post-Meeting Chat About Schedules (Everyday Life / Casual)
同僚（田中）：
ガエルさん、さっきの会議お疲れ様！スケジュールの説明、すごく分かりやすかったよ。
(Gaël, good job in the meeting just now! Your explanation of the schedule was very easy to understand.)
ガエル：
ありがとうございます！部品の遅れが分かったときは焦りましたが、事前に予備日を設定しておいてよかったです。
(Thank you! I panicked when I found out about the parts delay, but I’m glad we had set spare days in advance.)
同僚（田中）：
本当だね。予備日がなかったら、休日返上で作業せざるを得ないところだったよ（笑）。
(Indeed. If we didn’t have spare days, we would’ve been forced to work through our days off (laughs).)
ガエル：
（笑）。仕事の納期も大切ですが、休日に大阪の美味しいものを食べる時間も譲れませんからね！
(laughs. Work deadlines are important, but time to eat delicious Osaka food on weekends is something I can’t give up either!)
同僚（田中）：
ハハハ！その通り！今週末もしっかり休んでリフレッシュしよう！
