同僚: 仕事の方のバックアップ体制はどうですか？停電なども心配です。

(How is the backup system for your work? Power outages are a concern too.)

ロイック: 太陽光パネルで蓄電したバッテリーとポータブル電源を用意しています。災害対策において、事前の備えにかなうものはありませんからね。

(I have prepared batteries charged by solar panels and portable power stations. In disaster countermeasures, nothing compares to advance preparation.)

同僚: 完璧な準備ですね！通信環境に問題が出そうな場合は、遠慮なくミーティングを延期してください。

パターン2: 悪天候時の停電対応と非常食づくり

リーダー: ロイックさん、無事ですか？昨夜はかなりの暴風雨だったようですが。

(Loïc, are you safe? It seems it was quite a severe storm last night.)

ロイック: はい、無事です！昨夜は一時停電し、自宅待機を余儀なくされましたが、今朝には電気も復旧しました。

(Yes, I am safe! Last night there was a temporary power outage and I was forced to stay indoors, but electricity was restored this morning.)

リーダー: それは良かったです！回線トラブルで作業がストップすることはありませんでしたか？

(That’s great! Did the work stop due to network issues?)

ロイック: バックアップ回線があったので最小限の影響で済みました。もし基地局自体が壊れたら対処のしようがありませんが、今回は大丈夫でした。

(I had a backup line, so the impact was minimal. If the base station itself were destroyed, there would be no way to deal with it, but this time it was fine.)

リーダー: 頼もしいネットワーク構成ですね。食事などはどうされていたんですか？

(That’s a dependable network setup. What did you do for food and meals?)

ロイック: 停電中も使えるガスコンロを使って、収穫しておいた島野菜で温かいスープを作って食べていました！
